How can I get free student tickets?

Come to the Ticket Office starting at 11 AM each Monday for that week's free tickets! Your UM ID entitles you to one ticket per show, on a first-come, first-served basis. Quantities are limited.

What about the student discount?

UM students can purchase up to two tickets per performance for $7 each when they show their student ID at the ticket office. All other students receive only one. Students can also purchase student tickets online and show their student ID when they pick up their tickets at will call.

Can students from other schools get student tickets?

Yes! Students from other schools can show their student ID and receive one student priced ticket ($7.00).

I am a member of a student group. What kind of deal can I get?

Student groups recognized by the Office of Campus Programs can purchase 20+ student-priced tickets & get one ticket for free. Please call the Assistant Ticket Manager at 301-405-6126 for more information.

Why do some performances cost more than $7.00 for students, or have no student prices?

A number of organizations rent our facilities and since these events are not produced by us, ticket prices vary.

How can I find information about performances at the Clarice Smith Center—and can I purchase tickets online?

You can check our online calendar, where you can also purchase tickets online 24/7. You can also call the ticket office at 301.405.ARTS.

How do I get to the Center from other places on campus?

Shuttle UM provides routes that stop outside the Center during the semester. During the day, Campus Connector North (#102) stops outside the main entrance. In the evening (after 5pm), the Orange (#115) and Blue (#117) buses stop on the side of the Center closest to the Stadium Drive Garage.
